Consultation Cancellation with Business Expert

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are applicable for services provided by Zenoday Solution Private Limited, India — the legal owner of the brand Taxoday.com (hereinafter referred to as “Taxoday,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Taxoday is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and professional tax filing, advisory, and consultation services. However, we understand that under certain circumstances, clients may request cancellations or refunds. This Policy outlines the eligibility, exclusions, procedures, and timelines for refund and cancellation requests.
Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Taxoday, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring clients to cancel or reschedule their consultation appointments. To ensure fairness for both clients and consultants, we have implemented the following cancellation and refund policy.
1. Cancellation Before Appointment Time
- 120+ hours (5+ days) before the appointment → 5% cancellation fee, 95% refund
- 96–119 hours (4+ days) before the appointment → 25% cancellation fee, 75% refund
- 72–95 hours (3+ days) before the appointment → 50% cancellation fee, 50% refund
- 48–71 hours (2+ days) before the appointment → 75% cancellation fee, 25% refund
- 24–47 hours (1+ day) before the appointment → 100% cancellation fee, No refund
- Less than 24 hours before the appointment → No refund
2. Last-Minute Booking Cancellation (Booked within 24 hours of consultation)
- If a consultation is booked less than 24 hours before the appointment, no refund will be issued upon cancellation.
3. No-Show Policy
- If the client fails to attend the consultation without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.
- The consultant will wait on the video call bridge for 15 minutes post the scheduled time, after which the meeting will be automatically cancelled.
4. Rescheduling Policy
- Clients have the option to reschedule instead of cancelling.
- A rescheduling fee of 25% of the original booking amount will be charged to compensate for the consultant's time.
- Rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled appointment.
5. Consultant Time Protection Policy
To ensure that consultants' time is valued, clients rescheduling an appointment will be required to pay a Consultant Time Protection Fee of 20% of the total amount paid earlier.
- This fee compensates consultants for time lost due to rescheduling.
- Rescheduling is only confirmed once the Consultant Time Protection Fee is paid.
- If the client fails to make the additional payment, the rescheduling request will be canceled, and the original booking will be subject to the standard cancellation policy.
6. Consultant-Initiated Cancellation
- If the consultant cancels the appointment, the client will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule at no extra charge.
7. Technical Difficulties & Support Assistance
- In case of technical difficulties preventing the consultation from taking place, the client must raise a support ticket via the Help Center.
- The client must provide a detailed description of the issue along with necessary screenshots as evidence.
- The support team will review the case and determine whether a refund or rescheduling is applicable.
8. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days through the original payment method.
9. Policy Updates
Taxoday reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be published on https://www.taxoday.com.
