1. General Scope
This Policy applies to all services rendered via Taxoday.com, including but not limited to:
- Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing
- Tax Consultancy Services
- Legal and Financial Consultations
2. Cancellation and Refund Conditions
2.1 Service Not Rendered
- A full refund is applicable if Taxoday fails to initiate the assigned service due to internal errors, system failures, or any other reason attributable to us.
- This does not apply if the service delay is due to incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information from the client.
2.2 Commencement Delay Policy
- If Taxoday does not commence the assigned tax filing service within 48 hours of payment, the client is eligible for a full refund. However, if the delay in commencement is caused by technical issues at the Income Tax Portal (government portal), such a delay will not be considered while calculating the 24-hour time frame.
- If the delay is due to the client’s failure to provide the required documents or information, no refund will be issued.
2.3 Errors in Filing by Taxoday
- If an error occurs in your tax filing due to negligence or incorrect processing by Taxoday, the client may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the impact of the error.
- Refunds in such cases will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and the client must provide valid proof of the error.
2.4 Government Deadline Compliance
- If Taxoday fails to meet the official tax filing deadline due to an internal delay, the client is eligible for a full refund.
- However, if the delay occurs due to:
- The client’s late submission of required documents.
- Incorrect or misleading information provided by the client.
- Any change in government policies or tax rules after the service has been initiated.
- Delays caused by the Income Tax Department, GST Department, or any other regulatory authority beyond our control.
→ No refund will be applicable in these cases.
2.5 Client-Initiated Cancellations
- Before Service Initiation:
- A full refund, minus applicable transaction fees, will be processed if a client cancels before the service is initiated.
- After Service Initiation but Before Completion:
- A partial refund may be issued based on the work completed. The refund amount will be determined by Taxoday on a case-by-case basis.
- After Completion of Service:
- No refund will be issued once the service is fully delivered.
2.6 Dissatisfaction with Service
- If a client is dissatisfied with the service, a refund request must be submitted within 7 days of service completion.
- The case will be reviewed, and a refund may be granted only if the service quality does not meet the promised standards.
- Subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., tax refund amount not as expected) will not be considered grounds for a refund.

- Refund requests based on external factors beyond our control, including:
